Manage Stock Levels

The Manage Stock Levels feature is a manual stock adjustment tool within the Iron Ore Procurement System Software, designed to allow users to manually override and adjust raw material stock levels across all processing facilities. While the system automatically calculates stock levels through PostgreSQL triggers based on shipments, consumption, and production data, this tool provides the flexibility for manual corrections and adjustments when needed.

1. Manual Stock Adjustment

The system allows users to manually adjust stock levels for various raw materials:

Facility Types

  • Beneficiation Facilities: Adjust sinter feed stock levels
  • Pelletizing Facilities: Adjust pellet feed stock levels
  • DRI Facilities: Adjust pellet stock levels

Stock Data Fields

  • Stock Date: Date for which stock levels are being adjusted
  • Facility Selection: Choose the specific processing plant or facility
  • Raw Material Type: Type of material being adjusted (Sinter Feed, Pellet Feed, or Pellet)
  • Stock Level: Manual stock level entry in metric tonnes
